After months of anticipation and waiting, the day finally arrived for Paul's first shows in the US in more than 10 years. For me, it was my first OMD concert of any kind, and the first time I got to hear some of my all-time favorite songs played live.

As many of you know, I have been 'involved' with OMD for quite a while now, and this, along with the fact that one Mr. Martin Pursey (Paul's manager) had asked me for some logistics help with some of the shows, allowed me to help bring the fans to Paul, and Paul to some of the fans.

I was able to attend 3 shows (Sun Theatre in Anaheim, The Breakroom in Seattle and the Chicago Metro show), and was allowed backstage access to all 3 shows. I also put together a post concert party for the many fans who travelled from all over the world (literally) for the show at the Sun Theatre. The concert and the party afterwards were both a smashing success (well, at least in my opinion) and this also allowed some of the fans who had "travelled oh so far" to meet the man who produced so many of the songs we have come to love over the years.

I can tell you that Paul, Claudia, Martin and the rest of the band are fantastic people, and the few days I was able to spend with them I will remember for a long time to come.
